Our Cover & Maintenance Plan includes everything you need to protect your solar system and maximize its performance.

1. Solar Panel Coverage

Faulty Panel Repairs: If your solar panels experience any faults due to manufacturing or installation issues, we’ll take care of the repairs or replacements (excluding damage caused by external factors such as weather or vandalism).
Annual System Checkup: Once a year, we’ll perform a comprehensive inspection to ensure your solar system is working efficiently.

2. Cleaning & Maintenance

Free Annual Solar Clean: We’ll clean your solar panels for free each year to keep them free from dirt and debris that may reduce performance.
50% Off Roof Cleaning: Enjoy 50% off roof cleaning with every purchase. Keep your roof clear of debris to help improve solar panel efficiency.
Scheduled Maintenance Check: In addition to the free solar clean, we’ll conduct one annual maintenance check to ensure your system is performing at its best.

3. Solar Battery Discount

Discount on Solar Batteries: Receive an exclusive discount on any solar battery purchases made within 12 months of starting your plan. This will help you enhance your energy storage capabilities and make your solar system even more efficient.

4. Additional Benefits

Free Solar Clean Every Year: If you believe your solar panels aren’t working as efficiently as they should be, we’ll provide a free solar clean and conduct additional checks.
Performance Monitoring: We monitor your system’s performance and offer support if you notice any issues.

How It Works

Sign Up: Choose our Cover & Maintenance Plan and sign up online, by phone, or in person.

First Payment: Pay the first payment of £169.99 which covers your signing fee and first month’s installment.
Monthly Payments: After the initial payment, the remaining 11 payments of £69.99 will be automatically debited from your account monthly on the 1st of each month.
Ongoing Coverage: Enjoy 12 months of coverage, with services like cleaning, maintenance checks, and solar panel repair. Your plan will automatically renew at the end of the year unless you cancel or modify it.

When you purchase any Eco Roof Improvements Solar Plan, we include a professional gutter and fascia clean at no extra cost — carried out at the same time as your solar panel clean.

This means you only ever need one visit, saving you time and hassle, while keeping your roofline and solar system performing at their best.

What’s Included:

Full gutter clearance, removing leaves, moss, and debris
Fascia cleaning to protect woodwork and prevent rot
Downpipe flow check to ensure rainwater drains properly
Visual inspection of gutters, fascia, and roofline for early signs of damage

Pricing & Payment Options

Yearly Plan Cost:

Total Cost: £939.88 for the year, with the option to pay 12 monthly payments of £69.99.

First Payment:

£169.99 upon signing up. This covers:
- The £100 signing fee
- The first month's payment of £69.99

Monthly Payments:

£69.99 per month for the next 11 months.

Monthly payments will be debited from your account on the 1st of each month, starting immediately after the first payment.

Customer Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Solar & Home Electrics Cover Plan provided by Eco Roof Improvements. By signing up to this plan, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Definitions

“We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Eco Roof Improvements.
“You”, “Customer” refers to the policyholder named on the plan.
“Plan” refers to the Solar & Home Electrics Cover Plan.
“Covered Equipment” refers only to items explicitly listed as covered in this document.

2. Duration of Cover

2.1 The Plan provides 12 months of cover from the start date shown on your agreement.

2.2 The Plan will automatically renew annually unless cancelled in accordance with Section 10.

2.3 Cover begins once the initial payment has been successfully received.

3. Payments & Pricing

3.1 The Plan cost is paid as follows:

Initial payment: £169.99 (includes sign-up fee and first month’s instalment)
Monthly payments: 11 payments of £69.99, collected on the 1st of each month

3.2 Payments are collected via automatic debit.

3.3 Missed or failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of cover.

4. What Is Covered – Solar System

4.1 The Plan covers solar panels installed at the insured property for faults caused by:

Manufacturing defects
Installation-related issues (where applicable)

4.2 Included services:

One annual solar system inspection
One free annual solar panel clean
One scheduled annual maintenance check

4.3 Repairs or replacements are at our discretion and subject to parts availability.

5. What Is Not Covered – Solar System

The Plan does not cover:

Damage caused by weather events (including storms, hail, flooding, lightning)
Vandalism, theft, fire, or accidental damage
Structural or roof-related issues
Pre-existing faults present before cover start
Panels not installed or approved by Eco Roof Improvements
Cosmetic damage or efficiency upgrades

6. Cleaning & Discounts

6.1 One free solar panel clean is included per 12-month period.

6.2 50% discount on roof cleaning applies once per year and is subject to availability.

6.3 Additional cleans or services outside the Plan are chargeable.

7. Basic Home Electrics Cover (Included at No Extra Cost)

7.1 The Plan includes basic electrical cover for the insured property only.

Covered items include:

Consumer unit (fuse box)
Internal electrical wiring
Plug sockets
Light switches
Light fittings
Electrical faults causing loss of power

7.2 All electrical work will be carried out by qualified, certified electricians.

8. What Is Not Covered – Home Electrics

Electrical cover does not include:

Electrical appliances (e.g. ovens, washing machines, fridges)
External wiring or outdoor electrics
Garden buildings, sheds, or detached garages
Damage caused by water, fire, flooding, or structural faults
Pre-existing or known electrical faults
Cosmetic repairs or upgrades

9. Battery Discounts

9.1 Battery discounts apply only to purchases made within 12 months of Plan start date.

9.2 Discounts are subject to availability and may change without notice.

9.3 Installation costs may be charged separately.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

10.1 You may cancel the Plan within 14 days of sign-up for a refund, minus any services already provided.

10.2 After 14 days, no refunds are provided for payments already made.

10.3 We reserve the right to cancel the Plan for non-payment or misuse.

11. Access & Appointments

11.1 You must provide reasonable access to the property for inspections, cleaning, and repairs.

11.2 Missed appointments without notice may incur a call-out charge.

12. Fair Use Policy

12.1 The Plan is designed for reasonable domestic use only.

12.2 Repeated or excessive call-outs for the same unresolved issue may be declined.

13. Limitations of Liability

13.1 We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of energy savings or income.

13.2 Our liability is limited to the cost of repairs or services provided under the Plan.

14. Changes to Terms

14.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions at renewal.

14.2 Any changes will be communicated prior to renewal.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
